Show Notes CYH Episode 35: Q & A From My Fabulous Listeners

Welcome friends to Consider Yourself Hugged episode 35. Today’s Hug: Q & A From My Fabulous Listeners (Click here to listen).

I’m Dr. Tami West, here every week to bring you tips on living a life that brings you mental and emotional wellbeing.

I’m so happy that life gives me, every week, the opportunity to think, “I don’t have time to record this week!! Life is too crazy!” Because THEN I get to make the decision (hopefully y’all know that’s my favorite word – and "choose"!) to always focus on what I love, and I lOVE this! And this week HAS given me opportunities, some good, some “challenging”!

The good: I had 4 of my grandkids here for most of last week! My husband was home for part of that, and for those of you with grown kids and grandkids, when they come it’s awesome and you love it and love them! And when they leave, you’re like, how did I ever raise children of my own! I can’t lift my foot! I’ll need 3 months to recover lol! We took our 16 year-old driving! On the interstate! To Nashville! She did great! We went to a local festival on the square. We had to figure out who wanted what to eat for EVERY meal – if I was by myself, last week I had peanut butter on a hot dog bun 🤣 We ran errands. It was great!

And in the midst of this, Charlie had to go to the emergency vet! (Listen here) Well, there goes retirement! We’ll need a home equity line of credit!

And yet here we are, Episode 35!!!

Last week I asked for Q & A’s from you, my fabulous listeners! I received some directly on Facebook, some by private message, and some by email. Since I want to keep the show to a listenable length, I’ll do 2 today, then I’m planning to do Q&A once a month. So keep sending them and I promise to answer asap!

I'll open with a story of a woman asking me for advice last year. (Listen here).

1. Do you find a connection between a healthy mental and emotional well being and having an understanding of who you are through The eyes of God? (Listen here).

2. How can someone lead others when they are not emotionally stable or wrestle with unresolved wounds that need to be healed? (Listen here).

And that’s our time for today. I hope your learned something today that will help you in some way! Please pass the show link along to a friend or two. Look around here at tamiwest.com to get info if you’d like me to speak at your next event.

The monthly giveaway will come from leaving a comment on the blog there so be sure to do that. It’s still a CYH mug, which I know you’ll love. And thank you all for listening and growing our special community!

Finally, remembering our mental & emotional wellbeing goal, I hope that you will renew your thoughts daily, adopt empowering language that prevents verbal harm to yourself and others, and make positive mental and emotional choices on a daily basis.

And until next time, Consider Yourself Hugged 😘🤗
