10 Holiday Peace Tips for Real Women, Real Life (Season 6 Finale)

Welcome to Consider Yourself Hugged! Click below to watch or Click here to listen to Episode 217.

It’s the finale of Season 6! It’s just me today, wearing my “thankful” shirt and sipping water out of my “thankful for coffee” mug (Invisalign life). Michelle couldn’t join us, but she’s absolutely here in spirit.

In this episode, I share 10 of my most powerful Holiday Peace Tips, simple, real-life tools you can use right away. I talk about a young mom who misses the nostalgia of childhood holidays, how the Stress Club shows up this time of year, and why we don’t have to stay there.

I also share a few family stories, including the year Tim and I surprised Lindsay at a Starbucks when her Disney Cruise ship docked on Christmas Eve, why I finally let go of the Superwoman holiday, and how we created “Reidsgiving” for our almost-son-in-law who’s a pilot.

We walk through HALT, a 3-minute emotional reset, a 5-minute joy ritual, FIRR communication, tiny thought swaps, and the one question that brings it all together:

“What will I remember in January?”

Whether this season brings joy, grief, overwhelm, or a mix of all three — you’re not alone. We’re choosing memories, not pressure.

Until next season, Conisder Yourself Hugged and Happy Holidays!!

Tami & Michelle
