Hey friends,
Can you believe Mental Health Awareness Month has come to a close? If you’ve been following along, you know May was packed with honest conversations, gentle truths, and eye-opening reminders that we’re not alone in our struggles.
And while May gave us space to reflect, I want June to give us space to connect — with ourselves, with each other, and yes… even through a little trivia.
So welcome to June — officially Mental Health Trivia Month on my page!
Each day this month, I’ll be sharing a quick, fun (and sometimes surprising) trivia question designed to spark thought, create conversation, and maybe even make you smile. It’s called the: “I’m Fine. It’s Fine. Everything’s Fine.” Edition
Because if you’ve ever said those words while clearly not fine… you’re my people.
A Look Back: Anxiety Was Once Called “Anxiety Reaction”?
One of this week’s trivia questions blew me away — did you know that anxiety didn’t show up in the DSM (the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) until the 1950s? It was originally labeled an “anxiety reaction” and lumped in with “psychoneurotic disorders.” We’ve come a long way since then — thankfully.
But even with all our progress, anxiety still shows up in sneaky ways. Perfectionism. Overthinking. Avoidance. And sometimes… obsessive cleaning.
Yep — that led us into this question:
“Which Friends character shows frequent signs of anxiety through perfectionism and obsessive cleaning?”
A. Rachel
B. Phoebe
C. Monica
D. Chandler
Spoiler alert: It’s Monica. (Any fellow Monica-types out there? 🙋♀️)
Celebrities Feel It Too
If you’ve ever struggled with social anxiety, you’re not alone — not even close.
🎬 Emma Stone has shared that she had panic attacks as a child and created a sketchbook titled I Am Bigger Than My Anxiety.
🎤 Adele, one of the most powerful voices of our time, gets stage fright before performing.
That’s the reality: mental health challenges don’t care about fame, talent, or success. They’re part of being human.
Free Resource to Help You Feel Seen
This week I created a mini-guide called:
Anxiety: Then & Now – What It Means to Be Seen
It’s free, short, and filled with helpful bits like:
A quick history of anxiety in mental health
Trivia insights to help you understand your own patterns
Encouragement and hope (because we all need more of that)

Let’s Have Some Fun While We Heal
I’m so excited about this month. Yes, we’re learning. Yes, we’re being real. But we’re also going to have some FUN. Because sometimes laughter is medicine.
So follow along on your favorite platform, drop your trivia guesses, tag a friend, and let’s keep these conversations going.
And remember — just because May is over, doesn’t mean your mental health journey is. You’re still worth it. You’re still growing. And you are definitely not alone.
