Hi friends, welcome back! Today in Part 4, Michelle and I are diving into something incredibly powerful that we all need to revisit from time to time—finding meaning in our lives and setting goals that align with our values.

First, here are the promised pics of Michelle's & my spaces we are working on to increase our happiness 😁

We have both experienced times when we felt like we were just going through the motions, and I’m sure you have, too. We get so caught up in daily life that we lose sight of what’s truly important to us. But here's the thing—our sense of fulfillment, joy, and motivation all come from aligning our daily actions with the things we value most.

In today’s episode, we’re not just talking about setting goals for the sake of achieving something. We’re talking about meaningful goals—goals that resonate with your heart, that are in harmony with your values, and that make you feel like you're living your purpose.

We discuss how meaning comes from different areas in life. For some of us, it’s through emotional relationships with family and friends. For others, it’s through intellectual pursuits, personal growth, or contributing to a larger cause. We’ll both share our stories, as always, of how we are learning and growing through this!

We also talk about setting goals that are not only achievable but also meaningful. And that's where the SMART goal framework comes into play. We break down how being specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timed can help you bring your dreams to life in a way that is fulfilling and sustainable.

And here's the best part: We've created an activity sheet just for you! It includes:

1. A Meaning in Life Assessment: This will help you evaluate how meaningful your life feels right now and pinpoint areas that might need more attention.

2. A Values Assessment: You’ll identify your core values and assess whether your actions are aligned with those values.

3. The SMART Goal Exercise: This will guide you in setting clear, actionable goals that are in harmony with your values and help you move forward with confidence.

4. Your Wish List for your life

You can download the activity sheet below, and I encourage you to take the time to really reflect on these exercises. They’re designed to give you clarity and direction as you move forward, not just in achieving goals, but in living a life that feels truly meaningful.

Michelle and I are both working through this ourselves. It's such a great feeling to set goals that are aligned with who you are deep inside. Trust me, when you’re moving in the direction of your values, even the smallest steps feel like major victories!

As always, we’d love to hear how these exercises resonate with you. Don’t hesitate to reach out and share your thoughts or questions. We’re all in this journey together, and we’re here to support each other every step of the way.

Stay tuned for the next episode, where we’ll continue our exploration of positive psychology and dive deeper into practical strategies for enhancing your well-being. Thanks for staying with us through this!
