Cindy and I met at a ladies bible study a while back, and I fell in love with her sassy, sarcastic, loving spirit immediately! I had heard her sing in church and we might say hi in passing, but I have to share the story that made me want to get to know this woman better! (in Podcast)

A bit about Cindy: She traveled as professional vocalist for 25 years and was a business owner for another 10 years... She is now retired and loves to cook, meet new people, read and research! She chuckles as she describes her life as BORING, but she sure has had an impact on me!You can reach her at

I’m exhausted trying to defend myself.

Positive people around me helps me to push through these things – when they don’t treat me like someone who has fibro; they treat me like I’m still smart!

Be kind to yourself! You wouldn’t be purposely mean to your friends who are struggling; you’d take ‘em some soup!

Learn to take care of yourself. The world’s not going to be different in 20 years just because you committed to a bake sale!

If you notice I’m having a bad day, hug me and then let’s talk about something fun!

Don’t say "I hurt too but I just continue to exercise until the pain works out!”

I wanna ride in the car and laugh and then if I have to sit on a bench and read a book in the sunshine while you go do 3 laps around the park, just come back and get me on your way out! I’ll be fine; I will have enjoyed my day.
